ASTROLOGICAL MUDRAS & MANTRAS FOR A CONSCIOUS NEW YEAR

R450The sanskrit texts of India use sound and rhyme to teach the secrets of yoga and of astrology. Each of the nine planetary energies is connected to core bija sounds, names of divine energies and mudras of the hands.
Rod will introduce the nine planets of Vedic astrology, the paths they represent in our lives, and how we can use the tools of mantra, mudra and more to smooth out the obstacles they represent and enhance the opportunities they offer.
Rod Suskin is a well known astrologer and sangoma who has been in practice over 30 years. He has written numerous astrology books and two books on spiritual life, as well as teaching meditation and spiritual development in various lectures and workshops throughout the country. In his 17 years on Cape Talk radio Rod pioneered live on-air meditation, bringing direct spiritual experiences to thousands of listeners for the first time. Rod also studied Vedic astrology in India in 2004 and integrates knowledge of the Vedic mantras with astrology and meditation, which will be the focus of his workshop at Shangri-La.
